About Me

My name is Tim Dwyer, and I'm not the most diligent, I'm not the most thought provoking and I'm not the funniest guy you'll ever meet. But in my spare time I try and find a few sites here and there that I can recommend as sites that provide a better perspective on health.

I don't really do guest posts, but I will on occasion link to sites I like and think provide you with some benefits. Right now I really like the layout of the review site WhereToBuyHCGDrops.net (sort of a goofy name,) and OneStopTreatment.com. They do in depth reviews on the lesser known health supplements out there.

I did buy this site from a friend so you will see some older articles with links in them, some I left, some I didn't just depending on how much I liked the site.

Discount Tire Stores: How Much Are You Really Saving

Tires are one of those things you know you’ll need eventually, but you never really put much thought into saving up enough money before you needed to change them. What usually happens is that you’re driving along when one of your tires bursts, and you are broke. But don’t worry, I’m going to show you a way to get your next set of tires at a discount so you don’t have to worry about not being able to drive you car for the next couple of weeks.

Now, before you do anything, you need to determine your budget. Not just how much money, but how much you are willing to spend. This can be in the form of cash, credit, or a little bit of both. These types of things tend to happen when you very little cash on you, so I can understand if you’re forced to use your credit to pay for your replacement tires. Just make sure to pay off the credit card balance as soon as possible, since the interest rate will be insane and you’ll end up paying more out of pocket in the long run.

Now, if you’re a savy shopper, you know the best deals are online. There really isn’t a reason for you to drive around going from one tire store to the next looking for a good deal. You’ll be able to find a great deal online in half the time without even leaving your home. Just make sure you know your tire size and head on over to Google. Type in “tire deals” or “tire sales” and check out each site that is on the first page.

If you’ve ever wandered why these online discount tire stores are able to offer you the same tires as the retail tire stores at a discount, I’ll tell you how. Most tire stores get their tires from a wholesaler or directly from the manufacturer. This is the cost of the tire, and the tire store marks up the price so that they can cover their expenses and make a profit. Retail tire stores have higher costs, since they operate a physical store location and have to pay things like leases and employees. Online tire stores don’t have to worry those expenses, which enables them to pass those savings onto you, the customer. That is why they are able to offer you a better deal for the same tires.

Plus, you can do all of this from the comfort of your home. You don’t have to worry about driving all over town; your tires will be delivered directly to your or your tire shop. The only downside is that shipping costs a ton of money, so that will definitely eat into the discount. But overall, you’ll still be able to save more money by purchasing from an online discount tire store in the long run.
