About Me

My name is Tim Dwyer, and I'm not the most diligent, I'm not the most thought provoking and I'm not the funniest guy you'll ever meet. But in my spare time I try and find a few sites here and there that I can recommend as sites that provide a better perspective on health.

I don't really do guest posts, but I will on occasion link to sites I like and think provide you with some benefits. Right now I really like the layout of the review site WhereToBuyHCGDrops.net (sort of a goofy name,) and OneStopTreatment.com. They do in depth reviews on the lesser known health supplements out there.

I did buy this site from a friend so you will see some older articles with links in them, some I left, some I didn't just depending on how much I liked the site.

Diet Is Important To Natural Bodybuilding

Are you looking for a shortcut to build those muscles quickly? Well, there really are no shortcuts. You need to eat right, workout, and be consistent in your regime. Those who turn to alternative forms such as illegal substances will ultimately lose in the end. It’s best to use natural bodybuilding techniques to build that muscle mass and stay healthy.

The bodybuilder’s best friend is protein. When you work out, you are trying to rip your muscle fibers so that when they repair themselves they get bigger and stronger. If you eat extra protein, your body will be able to increase muscle production and its ability to repair itself. You should plan to eat at least one gram of protein for every pound of weight on your body. If you eat too much protein, it will just be expelled from your system.

In addition to protein, you need to utilize carbohydrates for muscle growth. There are two forms of carbohydrates known as simple carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates. Complex carbs are used mostly for energy and are broken down in your body very slowly. Simple carbs are broken down into sugars. These carbs are going to control how protein is used by your body. They will help the proteins build muscles instead expelling proteins from your body.

As a bodybuilder, you need to drink a lot of water and stay hydrated. Protein synthesis relies on water. If you do not drink enough water, then you most likely will fail to build any serious muscle mass. Water also helps your body metabolize fat. Water is essential for any bodybuilder. Make sure that you drink as much water as you possibly can throughout the day. You should drink a glass of water before and after your workout. Take a look at P90X dvd or power 90 workout.
